QuE-Lab and SwE-Lab for sample preparation for GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS analyses
QuE-Lab® is our new product line represented by “QuEChERS products” made in Italy for the extraction of analytes from a wide range of sample matrices, such as fruits, vegetables, animal products, fruit juices, wine, spices, cereals, honey and dried fruits, and their further purification. Using this method it is possible to extract the following analytes from the abovementioned matrices: pesticides, mycotoxins, veterinary drugs, acrylamides, antibiotics, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.
This method, based on the work published in 2003 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture – Eastern Regional Research Center – a Wyndmoor, PA (M. Anastassiades, S. J Lehotay, D. Stajnbaher, F.J. Schenck), admirably replaces old extraction methods, allowing to save time and drastically reducing the costs associated with solvents, glassware and special laboratory equipment. The “Original” method of 2003 has been outdated by methods EN 15662:2018 and AOAC 2007.01, approved by the European and American Food Regulatory Agencies, respectively.
SwE-Lab® is the brand that stands for our “Ready to use” products for the extraction method using ethyl acetate, developed by the Swedish National Food Agency (Method SweEt by S. Ekroth – LAPRW 2011), in which ethyl acetate is used as the extraction solvent.

QuE-Lab products
QuE-Lab® product line is the most complete on the market. It has been created considering every possible type of “ready to use” packaging (conical tubes, self-standing tubes, sachets, etc.) and, at the same time, all the official methods (EN 15662, AOAC 2007.01, etc.) it can be used for. The starting materials are carefully selected and each starting material batch is checked at the ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 accredited internal laboratory.
Each batch of tubes and caps is subjected to testing, i.e. leak tests.
Every QuE-Lab® product batch is accompanied with a Certificate of Analysis with full traceability of components and analytical data, as well as with the Safety Data Sheet, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP-Classification, labelling and packaging).

SwE-Lab products
SwE-Lab® is a new product line which includes products used to perform Swedish extraction technique (S. Ekroth – LAPRW 2011). The Swedish ethyl acetate method (SweEt) is a method for chemical analysis of pesticide residues in food using ethyl acetate as the extraction solvent, followed by LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS.
It was developed by the Swedish National Food Agency (National Reference Laboratory for Pesticide Analysis) for the quantitative analysis of more than 500 pesticides in fruits, vegetables, cereals and animal products.
